Responsibilities:
- Work independently in a wide variety of engagements under the leadership of Managers, Senior Managers and Partners
- Take part in firm-development opportunities by providing research and other skills to help in standards administration and overall firm growth,
- Assist in the development of assurance planning strategies and supervise their implementation,
- Assist in the mentoring and development of Junior staff members,
- Learn to develop and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications:
- A valid CPA Designation (or valid international equivalent), or successful completion of the CFE and working towards a CPA designation,
- Relevant audit experience within a Canadian CPA firm is considered an asset,
- Previous experience with Canadian Corporate/Personal Tax, Payroll Tax, Sales Tax, and other CRA compliance matters is considered an asset,
- Experience dealing with Taxprep and Caseware is considered an asset,
- Previous experience using various accounting software including Sage50, Sage300, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop is considered an asset,
- Willingness and ability to travel,
- Excellent communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills required,
- The ability to work independently, or in a team dynamic, in a fast-paced work environment,
- A can-do attitude and commitment to excellence
